Reflective Narrative:
This course really helped me to figure out which path I wanted to take while at CSUMB. When I first started my classes, I was unsure whether or not I wanted to focus on Japanese or Spanish, but the arrangement of professors for the class offered advice that enabled me to choose.
It's mainly an informational course in order to properly prepare me for future lifestyles with our majors. An example of this would be the creation of my e-portfolio. Although it was only once a week, I strived for excellence in this class by brushing up on certain life skills pertaining to job searches (i.e. resume building) and also acquired information on how to make use of my school's excellent library search engine as well as refresh on fundamentals such as what I need to do in order to graduate on time.
